About
Sometimes life can become pretty overwhelming. Everyone at some point needs a helping hand in making sense of stressful events, finding ways to cope, and taking steps toward becoming the person he or she wants to be. When working with my clients, my goal is to be that helping hand. I tailor my approach to clients' strengths and needs, with the focus of assisting individuals in reaching their goals and becoming the best versions of themselves. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, and families struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, life changes, grief, emotion regulation, or stress management.
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches. I have specialized training for working with active duty military, veterans, and their families as well as individuals who have experienced childhood and sexual abuse.
I offer a comfortable, private setting for addressing the difficult issues that may bring you to counseling, and flexible hours to meet your needs. I look forward to meeting you and working together to help you meet your goals!
