I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which means I have completed intensified year-long training and supervision in my work with couples. I am a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and attend continuous trainings and supervision throughout the year.
I believe therapy is most successful when we are partners in exploring your inner world together. My approach is empathic and curious, while also direct, and I try to incorporate warmth and humor into the session. I seek to empower my clients to take control of their behaviors and to understand the why" behind certain feelings and repeated cycles.
