Coming to counseling takes courage and I believe the best approach is to teach each other and work as a team. I take the time to look at the entire picture and invite all of your parts into the room. I believe in an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy so that your needs decide where we take treatment. I know therapy can be a difficult first step. I specialize in helping individuals navigate processing traumatic events, taking back control of their nervous system and deepening their understanding of self and all their parts. I look forward to the opportunity to recognize and nourish your unique qualities.
I am a trauma informed therapist. I use interventions such as EMDR, Polyvagal Theory and use an Attachment Focused approach. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I’m passionate about advocating for those who are not in every room. Additionally, I work with individuals who want to address compulsive sexual behaviors and complex betrayal trauma.
