I am experienced with versatile populations and therapeutic concerns. My therapy techniques with children include a mix of cognitive-behavioral therapy, the developmental approach, creative and play-based interventions, and integrating sensory interventions into daily life in order to cope with the social-emotional effects of grief, trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders. I am also passionate about working with adults healing from psychological trauma and loss. Building a client-focused therapeutic alliance and providing a safe environment centered on empathic support and compassion is paramount to how I connect with clients.
I also enjoy consulting with parents and caregivers to assist them with learning attachment-based parenting techniques for children that have complex trauma histories and special needs. I can provide sessions centered on education, intervention recommendations, and learning how to structure a nurturing and cognitively stimulating environment for children.
The decision to work with a therapist is an investment in self and I would be happy to have the privilege to witness your story and provide a safe place to work toward your goals. Please feel free to reach out to me!
