Becoming a parent is supposed to be joyful – but for many, it's also disorienting. The postpartum anxiety no one warned you about. The grief that doesn't make sense alongside the joy. Before becoming a therapist, I was a full-spectrum doula – sitting with families through pregnancy, birth, loss, and the early weeks of new parenthood. I witnessed firsthand how little support exists during this vulnerable transition. That experience is the reason I became a therapist at all.
As an LPC certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), Trauma (CTP), and Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CADC), I specialize in postpartum depression, birth trauma, maternal mental health, and perinatal grief. I also support clients through life transitions, trauma, and mood disorders using CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches.
