I work with individuals who are thoughtful, sensitive and often appear 'high functioning' but struggle with feeling overwhelmed, dissatisfied or stuck internally. My work with clients aims to help individuals know themselves more deeply and cultivate an inner steadiness- an anchor through the natural ups and downs of life. I draw from both evidenced-based approaches alongside contemplative and mind-body practice, including mindfulness and somatic awareness. I am an iRest yoga nidra teacher, which is an evidenced-based meditation practice shown to be helpful as a complementary treatment for insomnia, chronic pain and life stress.
I have specialized experience in the treatment of insomnia using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the gold standard treatment for sleep difficulties. CBT-I is a brief, structured 4–6 session treatment that improves sleep duration and quality and reduces sleep-related anxiety.
If you're interested in working with me, please email me to schedule a free 20-minute consultation. I am licensed in 40+ states to provide tele-therapy and see individuals in person in Holladay, UT.
