Amanda is highly experienced in treating young adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse and eating disorders. She also is passionate about helping the everyday parent, spouse, college student or teen who is having a difficult time managing life's ups and downs and transitions. Amanda is able to address common underlying issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-confidence, and relationship issues. Amanda helps each client gain insight into negative thoughts and behaviors and teaches them coping skills to utilize in challenging times.
Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Having graduated from La Salle University in 2011, she holds a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialty in addictions.
Amanda understands that motivation for therapy and meaningful change may vary. Her approach is very casual and personable, which helps reduce any resistance or anxiety associated with therapy.
