My name is Amanda Kalisz and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over ten years of experience. I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for adults who are juggling work, kids, relationships, and finding time to also care for themselves. This often causes depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, and overwhelming feelings.
I specialize in anxiety, stress, trauma, and depression, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Hypnosis for smoking cessation to help my clients make progress and start feeling better.
I decided to become a therapist because I have always wanted to help and work with people. I started out working at a halfway house for adults with mental health diagnoses. From there I worked with veterans and people struggling with addiction and homelessness.
