I use a comprehensive and integrative approach to counseling, drawing from various theoretical frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. Clients come with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and challenges, so I tailor my approach to best meet the unique needs of each individual client.
As a therapist, I primarily want my clients to feel seen, heard, and understood. In therapy, these experiences are achieved by building rapport and trust, displaying empathy and understanding, and maintaining positive regard.
