I have experience working with adult and young adult clients from historically marginalized backgrounds and have worked with a variety of client concerns including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, identity, and suicidality.
I strive to foster therapeutic relationships that are collaborative, and nonjudgmental and am invested in helping each client create a therapeutic experience that is personally meaningful. I am also particularly attentive in addressing the unique struggles, barriers, and experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color on individual and systemic levels.
I believe that self-awareness and genuineness are core components of personal growth, and I encourage clients to be naturally introspective and curious about themselves. I seek to understand each individual as a whole within the larger context of their unique lived experiences and intersecting identities.
