Amanda Joy Gordon
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, CAS
Is your worry, sadness, low energy, or feeling bad about yourself getting in the way of having the life you want? Do distressing experiences from your past affect your current relationships, job, or happiness? Are you having trouble managing stress? Have you been in therapy before but didn't end up feeling better? You don't need to suffer alone with these problems. I can help.
As a Somatic Psychotherapist, I use not just talking but body-centered approaches to help you become more in control of how you feel, think, and act. This might include Brainspotting or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), integrative therapies for resolving the lingering effects of trauma or distressing experiences.
To give each client what they personally need, I draw from many modalities: DBT, mindfulness, Dance/Movement Therapy, addiction counseling, Mind Energy Body Transformation, and others. In a safe, non-judgmental, playful environment, we'll work together to create the healing and change that you deserve. Call now!
