I specialize in working with women in the perinatal period, first responders, and trauma survivors. I understand the challenges of adjusting to motherhood, infertility, experiencing vicarious trauma. I have cultural competency training in job-related stressors for police, fire, EMT, and 911. If you want resources to help you keep going and meet life's demands, I can help with that. I’m certified in EMDR and Trauma-focused CBT, which have been shown in research to resolve PTSD. I've received specialized training in perinatal care and can help you navigate perinatal anxiety, a traumatic birth, or grief after a loss. I'm also trained in first responder cultures and can help you let go of difficult work events and find peace at home.
In our first few sessions, the goal is to understand your goals for therapy and find effective strategies to start feeling better. Clients describe me as warm, solution-oriented, and empowering.
