Amanda J. Davis, PhD, Psychologist in Palm Beach Gardens
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. My approach to psychotherapy integrates the best scientific data with a profound awareness of the uniqueness of every person. I provide a warm, affirming environment where I serve as both coach and cheerleader, and I rely on the most current medical and psychological research to develop treatment plans and recommendations. My goal is to provide you with the skills and support you need to overcome the obstacles that keep you from being healthy and happy.
I received my psychology training at Princeton University, Emory University, and Weill-Cornell Medical Center. Prior to becoming a Floridian, I worked at the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders in New York City, providing CBT for inpatients and outpatients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and related eating disorders.
I am a member of Ricci Psychology, an integrative group of psychologists. Ricci Psycology offers psychotherapy, testing, and forensic evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our excellent clinical team specializes in treating anxiety, OCD, hoarding, trichotillomania, phobias, PTSD, trauma, eating disorders, and many other issues.
