I love working with individuals and families and have been for 8 years in the New River Valley in a wide variety of roles. My approach is tailored for each client, situation and goal to find what works best for each unique individual. I use an eclectic approach and embrace a person-centered philosophy to best meet my client's needs and take joy in helping others explore and achieve personal goals to live a healthier and happier life.
I am a therapist with experience in both school-based and in-home settings working with ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dual diagnosis, anger management, trauma and grief/loss to name a few while working with adults, children, adolescents and families providing support, training and crisis interventions.
As I continue to work towards increasing my skills I have achieved credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist through the Association for Play Therapy in 2017 and an Certified Advanced Child Youth and Family Social Worker through the National Association of Social Workers in 2016.
