Need help with your child's behaviors or attitude? I can provide your child and you with the necessary tools to make positive changes. Need help managing depression, anxiety, anger, or substance abuse? Together we can increase your ability to manage life's challenges. I work with children, young adults, and adults. I provide a non-judgmental, client-centered, and laid-back environment. I will assist you in learning about yourself, and how you can make decisions and choices that best support your mental health.
I believe that counseling is a collaborative process in which clients gain understanding of life's challenges and learn ways to address them. I have 10 years of counseling experience. I provided home-based counseling to children and families for 7 years and helped start an adolescent drug court program prior to joining private practice.
As a client, you can expect a non-judgmental setting, empathy, and compassion. I will address current stressors first, and help you identify ways to process and manage emotions. I welcome all clients and seek to gain understanding of those who believe differently than myself. Together we can work towards a higher level of overall well-being and happiness.
