I have extensive experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school aged children, and their families. I have over ten years of clinical experience in child and adolescent therapy, evaluation, and parenting consultation.
I specialize in providing therapy and evaluations for children. I provide therapy for children and adults when there are emotional or behavioral problems that interfere with functioning or relationships. For example, parents often seek therapy for their children to help them cope with divorce, trauma and loss, to decrease symptoms of anxiety or depression, or to learn to manage problems with school and difficulties with peers.
I provide consultation and therapy to assist with the many challenging issues faced by parents of young children, including sleep difficulties, feeding/eating problems, tantrums and aggressive behavior, toileting issues and adjustment to school or new siblings.
I have worked extensively in many settings. I have provided group and individual therapy to children and adolescents in school, home, office and in-patient psychiatric settings. I am thoroughly familiar with the IEP process and evaluating behavioral services. I enjoy working with families to find tailored solutions.
