Interested in working together? Much of my experience includes work with adolescents and young adults navigating their formative years. As a former Assistant Director of a college counseling center, I’ve worked with clients experiencing difficulties with adjustment, substance use, academic distress, anxiety, depression, career concerns, eating concerns/body image, grief/loss, intimate partner violence, relationship concerns, and trauma. I have also worked with many Adults navigating similar concerns! I take an integrative approach with my clients using only evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, CPT, ACT, UP, and CGT.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe in building strong relationships and trust within the first few sessions. As a skills based-therapist I believe clients benefit most by learning skills and tools to make positive behavioral changes, rather than talk therapy alone. With my help, clients will build a toolkit of skills to manage day to day stressors.
