I believe in individualized healing: that no two people are the same or have the same story. We will decide together what works best for you to improve your quality of life and overall health & wellness. I believe self-image, self-worth, and personal well-being come from the stories we tell ourselves and the identities we apply to ourselves. Addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, and addiction, in a holistic way can bring about change and healing. I engage healing through increasing relationship fulfillment, improving body & self-image, nutrition assessment, life transition support, and recovery from trauma and loss.
I have twelve years experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence as well as veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have ten years experience working with people who struggle with addiction and dual diagnosis. I specifically support stress and emotion management needed in life transitions.
I support people living with depression, anxiety, addiction, unresolved grief and loss issues, stress management and crisis management needs, and post traumatic stress symptoms. I believe safety and compassion are integral to healing. My practice is informed and motivated by the strength and resiliency of those I work with.
