Therapy can be an amazing tool to help you reconnect to your life and others when you're feeling stuck. I believe it's important to recognize a person’s whole lived experience, the systems they are a part of and how intersecting identities can contribute to addressing their stress. As a LGBTQ+ Latine person, I often draw from intersectional feminist, multicultural, social justice, and trauma-informed frameworks to help explore and process present and past events and every day stressors. I focus on creating a non- judgmental space where collaboration occurs to meet your needs with playfulness, empowerment, and self-compassion.
I've had experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with common struggles like anxiety, depression, OCD, complex family dynamics, life transitions, parenting struggles, self-worth, self-harm, and gender/sexuality exploration. I utilize multiple interventions to fit each client’s goals like CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Narrative therapy.
I hope to support you in you journey of change and self growth. This process will be hard at times and that's okay! If anything I shared resonated with you, I would love to accompany you in this journey. Please feel free to reach out at any time!
