As you scroll through the many options for counseling, it can be stressful. Seeking counseling can be intimidating and scary, but it is sign of strength and courage. It is never easy admitting you need help. Most of us yoyo between the past and the future, giving very little thought to the present. I believe counseling is a way of reconnecting to the part of us that has been lost in relationships, responsibilities, unexpected changes, and things we have yet to heal from. I am a proud Air Force veteran and a mother. I have years of experience working with those who need someone who really sees them.
I have experience in working with those impacted by different types of traumas, Military Sexual Trauma, grief/bereavement, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, substance use, family conflict, and occupational stressors.
My goal is to help clients get "unstuck" by providing a safe space to explore what is holding them back from living the type of life they want to live. Therapy is the best form of selfcare.
