I enjoy working with people who want to grow their understanding of themselves on their journey to alleviating symptoms. Often life-circumstances, trauma, relationships, or other mental health concerns interfere with someone fully achieving their potential, leaving them feeling stuck, anxious, or depressed. I value working with people who want to explore their own mind and circumstances, in order to grow through what has been holding them back and develop insight into their current situation. I have experience working with teens, college-students, and adults to collaboratively address their needs.
My focus is on helping individuals understand and express their identity, which often results in greater self-confidence. As part of this process, getting to know the individual as a unique person, including their strengths and struggle, is vital to the therapeutic process. My work draws heavily from psychoanalytic theory as well as relational approaches.
I offer collaborative individual psychotherapy to individuals to both alleviate symptoms and develop a stronger sense of self. I also provide psychological assessment for individuals who are working with other providers or want a starting point for understanding what might be holding them back and what strengths they can draw on to best meet their goals.
