Finding help can be an intimidating process, especially when you’re not feeling like yourself. “I know where I want to be in life, but just can’t seem to get there... Will therapy even work for me?... I have all this awareness, now what?... I’m running out of time to change... I don’t know who to trust.” Fear, Doubt, and Shame like to interfere with our pursuit of self-improvement, introducing thoughts like these to keep us isolated and uncertain. As a trauma-informed Narrative therapist, my job will be helping you overcome barriers to better wellness and creating new meaning of your experiences.
My pronouns are She/Her/Hers. With dual licensure in addictions (LAC) and professional (LPC) counseling, I promote a creative therapy approach, often utilizing metaphor, experiential exercises, skill building, and harm reduction for those looking to address concerns regarding their substance use and/or sexual health. At present, I only work with individuals.
I specialize in serving people living with or affected by HIV and chronic illness; the LGBTQ+ community; and individuals wanting to explore their gender identity and sexuality, addiction(s), and/or mood disorders. If I might be able to support your therapeutic goals, please review my website and contact me for a free phone consultation today.
