I’m a Licensed Social Worker, who has been providing counseling since 2012. I am EMDRia trained. I strongly believe that it is important to work with the whole person as trauma affects our mind, body, and spirit. It's important that my clients feel safe to bring their whole selves to the counseling room; crying, cussing, screaming are all welcome.

I teach polyvagal theory to help all my clients understand their nervous system and how to retrain it. This helps us to identify triggers and past hurts. I then use EMDR processing to clear out negative beliefs and disturbing events. I also use IFS to understand the parts of self and to help extend compassion toward all these parts. IFS allows us to work with parts that may block processing.
