I have a passion for those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, life transitions, grief and loss, behavioral addictions, identity and self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and sports performance. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, faith-based, and incorporates tools from cognitive behavioral therapy. However, my utmost priority is understanding the person in front of me and adjusting my interventions to suit their unique needs. As a licensed professional counselor in training, I am equipped to work with older adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Due to having an extensive sports background, I enjoy counseling athletes and coaches. I recognize that sports can take a toll on an athlete’s mental health. Therefore, I am devoted to creating a safe space for athletes to understand that their mental health is just as important as their physical health.
I believe that by fostering a safe environment, growth, change, and healing can take place. My hope is that each person will leave my office feeling valued and empowered to work towards their goals.
