Reaching out for support can feel uncertain and overwhelming. I work with teens, adults, couples and families struggling with a variety of life's challenges. Together, we'll explore how past experiences may be impacting the way you think and feel today and develop new strategies and skills to help you function in a way that serves you. I believe that emotions are helpful information, and, we don't have to allow them to take control. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel able to be honest and appropriately challenged to grow. I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Masters in Forensic and Legal Psychology from Marymount University. I utilize a trauma informed approach and often work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and the emotional impact of life transitions.
I approach every session with the knowledge that you are the expert on you. We will work collaboratively to determine your personal goals. I know that sharing your inner world with someone else can be vulnerable and scary, and aIso believe it is one of the greatest gifts we can give to ourselves.
