About
I am a queer non-binary Puerto Rican person and clinical social worker based in Philadelphia, PA. I am focused on the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle to increasing self-awareness and to healing through connection. As a trauma-informed clinician, I prioritize, safety, choice and collaboration in our work together. I approach therapy through an anti-oppressive and decolonial lens. I consider how a person’s larger context -their history, their community, their family, socio-political systems and culture- interact with a client’s multiple, intersecting identities.
I have a background working with traumatic grief, depression/anxiety, trauma and issues of migration and creativity. For the past few years, I have been providing psychotherapy to college students at the University of Pennsylvania. I am passionate about supporting young people as they heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, and explore their identities.
I work with individuals ages 16 and up. I prioritize working with emerging adults (18-29y/o), people of color, queer folx, college students, artists, activists and people who are first- and second-generation to the United States. If you feel a connection with my background and fall outside of this category, please reach out to me.
