I am specialized in treating couples affected by pornography and sexual compulsivity. I help teach you how to truly connect instead of escaping and numbing. I also provide empowerment for betrayed partners helping them to create healthy boundaries and understand betrayal trauma. I will facilitate a full disclosure for the couple, helping the relationship heal and rebuild trust. I am experienced with many marital problems and will help you understand your negative cycles within the relationship preventing you from being close and connected.
I am trained in EMDR and approach therapy through an attachment perspective using Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I use warmth, humor, experience, education, and honesty to help you make healthy changes and gain an understanding of yourself and what matters most to you.
I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and adjunct faculty teaching at BYU in the MFT masters program. I own Hope Therapy and employ over 25 therapists.
