I have worked extensively with trauma, anxiety, depression, personality and mood disorders. Diagnosis can be very helpful for the trajectory of treatment, however, I try not to get caught up in labels. I like to address symptoms and establish achievable short and long-term goals. My goal is always to help you see real and lasting results.
I use a collaborative and creative approach to counseling. I don't believe in "cookie cutter" counseling. I borrow from a number of theories and practices so that I can tailor sessions to each and every individual. I use CBT, DBT, prolongued exposure therapy, exposure therapy, and mindfulness to name a few. I also love teaching coping skills in session.
Are you ready to seek change and build autonomy in your life? I am happy to walk with you on your journey. What you need to succeed is already within you. I can help you uncover that.
