In a society where many have their needs and emotions dismissed, I prioritize creating a comfortable space that is accepting, welcomes the expression of vulnerability in many forms, and is thoughtful of varying identities.
I specialize in treating complex trauma and anxiety. I practice with a systems approach, understanding the intimate ways that our societal systems can traumatize individuals. I most enjoy working with adults and adolescents who are seeking a safe space to process, grow and improve their relationships with self and others.
In sessions my style can be directive and challenging at times, and full of laughter, cursing and crying at other times. One thing remains the same: my approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate, seeking to help you heal from past harm and learn to find safety, belonging and encouragement from within.
