I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it is a great way to explain the connections between our thoughts, feelings, and actions, and ultimately help obtain some emotion regulation. I also love EMDR for trauma work. This is more of a somatic therapy that allows the brain and body to heal from past experiences by using eye movements or tapping.
