Are you feeling miserable, stressed, or just dissatisfied? I will assist you in building your life worth living. I work very well with those who feel like things are falling apart... to be more present, tolerate your distress, improve relationship satisfaction, and regulate your emotions. I specialize in those with chronic emotional dysregulation who may be trying to cope through self-injury, considering suicide, or other destructive means. Many of my clients have experienced abuse or trauma, and many are working on addressing codependency by learning to set boundaries.
I am the Founder/Director of Upaya Counseling, LLC. "Upaya" translates to "skillful means:" the same method that "works" in one situation may not be effective in another. With wisdom and compassion, precision and flexibility, we customize a treatment approach for you. We have a comprehensive DBT program and do evidence-based trauma therapy.
Therapy is an investment into yourself. You and I will reserve time on a regular basis devoted to supporting you and your change process. Please reach out to see if we are a good fit together. Excited to hear from you!
