My role as a therapist is help those in need of practical strategies to help them navigate and manage life's many challenges, to help them feel better - whether it's anxiety, depression, stress, career struggles, or family stressors. I combine Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you find your reasons for changing, looking forward to the kind of life you want to live, and make small tweaks to routines to optimize what works for you.
I have a special interest in working with women and men experiencing various life changes including (but not limited to) fertility/ infertility, perimenopause/menopause, pregnancy anxiety, or postpartum depression & anxiety. I also have a special interest in working with individuals struggling with caregiver burnout and with individuals struggling insomnia.
