My ideal client is someone who recognizes they are repeating the same patterns in their life and are tired of facing the same roadblocks. Maybe they don't really even want help but have nearly exhausted their efforts otherwise. I work best with those who are unsatisfied or unhappy with their lives and can't seem to get any traction on their own. I've worked in mental health for a hospital system for years so I have a wide diversity of experience. I also am highly skilled in substance abuse issues whether it involves alcohol, addiction, problem drinking, codependency, or detrimental effects experienced by family members.
My expertise is two-fold. It is in treating people with mental health issues who want symptoms treated but also want to recover from underlying causes. Secondly, I work well with people who want to recover from substance abuse issues, are already in recovery, or are family members/loved ones that are negatively affected by drinking/using of substances.
