I am passionate about assisting each client in understanding their symptoms and what we can actively do together to create change and accomplish treatment goals. I enjoy working with clients that are ready to be active participants in their treatment. I work with children, adolescents and adults. I have over 10 years of specialized experience in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and anxiety disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Selective Mutism, Separation Anxiety), Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling), and phobias.
I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) and utilize evidence based treatments to best serve my patients. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit and Reversal Training (HRT), and Behavioral Activation (BA). I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Strategies as needed to support ERP treatment.
I enjoy the process of seeing my clients gain greater insight into their symptoms, master skills, and feel confident in managing their symptoms so that they can live the life they want without their mental health holding them back.
