My central focus is providing compassionate support to children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulty in relating to others in their lives, be it with parents, siblings, peers, or other adults. I believe that relationship is the catalyst for any change. Together we will work to establish a relationship characterized by safety, trust, and compassion so that we can do the important work of moving past the fear, anxiety, or sadness that is blocking you or your child.
I have extensive experience working in the educational system with children who have varying needs for emotional support. My experience includes working with children who are experiencing mood disturbances, anxiety, phobias, family changes, gender identity issues, difficulty managing anger, low self-concept, and high-risk behaviors.
In working with children, I believe that a comprehensive approach is critical. With parent permission, I will work collaboratively with your child's educational team and any caregivers to help create a consistent approach to supporting your child.
