My clients typically feel stuck and want to see the situation through a lens of hope. I love helping people, couples, and polycules see their strengths and work their way out of their struggles to a better life! I can't make bad things stop happening in life, but I can help guide my clients to healthy coping skills and new perspectives to get them to a life worth living. I have a passion for working with the LGBT+, ENM/Polyamorous, minority, and Kink communities. I am proficient in helping with issues related to trauma. I especially love to help empower the oppressed and the people who are made to feel "less than."
I can offer empathetic, judgement free, and knowledgeable care to people of all walks of life. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and other techniques. I believe in going where the client leads, because it is first and foremost about them! I am straight forward and love to use humor, when appropriate.
I have been in the mental health field for 10 years and have been a counselor for two years. I became a counselor because I genuinely care about what happens to others and I want to help them through tough times. I am currently accepting new clients and would love to walk with you on your journey to emotional and mental wellness!
