You are not alone! I am an anxiety therapist specializing in treating trauma, OCD, and life transition issues. Some of the adversities faced by clients I work with include struggles stemming from childhood, generalized anxiety, infertility, perinatal /postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, obsessions and compulsions, and traumatic experiences. Whether you are struggling with the past, present, or worried about the future I can help.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), along with CBT and DBT. Together these therapies support healing while building resilience, self-compassion, empowerment and healthy relationships.
I am an empirically-based and biblically informed therapist. I love to incorporate clients' belief systems into therapy as well. I use techniques that enhance the natural way our brains and emotions are designed. I seek to understand my clients' unique life stories and to work with those stories as a whole: past, present, and future.
