About
My approach to treatment begins with the belief that all people have value and deserve to be treated with dignity. While we have the ability to be resilient, we will at times struggle with life's difficulties. Dr. Viktor Frankl stated, "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." My role as a counselor is to assist people with better understanding of these issues and learn new ways to begin initiating change.
I utilize an integrative approach in order to adjust to each individual persons needs. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with individuals, couples, and families to address an array of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, and relationship difficulties
Humans have the incredible ability to heal themselves and I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment to assist in this process. Initiating change can be difficult when you don't know where to start but counseling can be a catalyst for learning new patterns of behavior. Call for a free consultation today.
