Hi! I am from rural MN and have a passion for helping anyone who walks through my door. My approach to therapy is to meet you wherever you are and assist you in reaching your goals. We all need help now and then and it can be challenging asking for it. I am here to listen, validate, and support you through your life's journey. I am a provider who is real and honest. I have a military background and can be blunt if that is desired and needed. Many of my clients tell me how much they love my realness and bluntness so they can move forward and not stay stuck in their old patterns.
I'm trained in various methods, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I'm also experienced in providing CBT, CPT, and EMDR. I have a lot of experience working with personality disorders and domestic violence survivors.
I have unique experiences in working with agricultural communities and veterans. I am a proud veteran of the Army National Guard and I spent the better part of a decade farming in rural Minnesota. Asking for help takes courage. Healing the mind and body takes time. You are strong enough for both!
