In life, there is so much that is out of your control and it can easily become overwhelming. We all experience adversity at some point in our lives and my hope is to help you realize how resilient you truly are. I believe there is power in telling your story and it is how your healing begins. One of my goals is to empower you to take control of your own narrative and rewrite your story the way you want it to be instead of how it has been written for you.
Since all of our stories are different, my therapeutic approach is tailored to each specific story that is brought into the counseling space. I pull from a variety of different therapeutic approaches of counseling such as person-centered, ACT, solution-focused, strength-based and CBT. I strive to create a space that is safe, non-judgmental and supportive.
I view therapy as a tool for self-exploration, self-discovery, and healing. It is a real privilege to listen to your story and collaborate with you on how to rewrite your narrative. You should not have to write your story alone. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults especially college students, and adults on various issues.
