Announcement icon Currently seeing clients in-person or via telehealth - this is at personal discretion of you! Note: I am fully vaccinated.
As a mental health and addiction counselor, I offer a collaborative, supportive, insight-oriented approach to therapy that is grounded in present-moment awareness and allows for exploration of the self with compassion. I view counseling as being a dynamic relationship between client and counselor where, through trust and insight, we create space to process what is needed to promote growth and change. I will work with you to explore how your past relationships, patterns of thinking, and behaviors are impacting your current life circumstances to improve your present experience.
I specialize in treating the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual impacts of trauma, and the issues that come about as a result, such as addictions, mental health disorders and relational disturbances. I draw from a variety of different approaches and so what this means for you is I will work with you to create an individualized plan for your care.
In working together, you can expect me to be actively engaged with you, offering empathy, psychoeducation, objective insight, and occasional humor to help us tackle what you’ve been grappling with, and help you to make meaningful changes to your world that will help improve your quality of overall life.
