Do you feel anxious or overwhelmed no matter how hard you try to think your way out of it? You may be carrying unhealed trauma. Trauma doesn’t have to be a single event, it is just a fancy word meaning ‘wound.’ Just like physical injuries, emotional wounds affect both the mind and body. That doesn’t make you weak, broken, or ‘crazy,’ it makes you human. Our experiences can lead us to hold negative beliefs about ourselves, others, our higher power, or the world around us. I am here to say that your body has the wisdom to heal.

I use EMDR, Internal Family Systems (parts/inner child work) and somatic techniques informed by polyvagal theory to support deeper nervous system healing. We may explore mindfulness practices such as breath work and yoga at your comfortability to help you reconnect with your body and rediscover a sense of safety.

If you’re seeking quick solutions or someone to tell you what to do, my approach may not be the right fit. I focus on lasting change and this takes time and patience with yourself. I believe change can happen, as I’ve experienced it on the other side of the couch. I am here to walk side by side as a guide on your healing journey.
