Hi, I'm Alyssa! For over 15 years, I have specialized in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I have extensive experience working with clients in a variety of settings who are experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, family conflict, grief and loss, attachment issues, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, questioning their identity, and having difficulty with life transitions. It is my strong belief that family and parenting support is a core component of working with children and adolescents, as a healthy family system is so impactful and important for them.
In addition to direct client work, my professional experience includes serving as the Acute Intensive Services Programs Director at Edgewood Center for Children and Families, which serves children & families by providing intensive residential and outpatient therapeutic support.
I draw from a Strengths-Based and Systemic approach when working with youth and their parents, and my approach is collaborative, warm, and direct. I believe passionately in early intervention in order to support children, adolescents, and young adults becoming the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves as they transition to adulthood.
