I will provide you with presence, openness and a genuine commitment to healing. If you are reading this you may be considering facing a problem in your life. This takes courage and a willingness to face something that is real and present. I have been most drawn to the view that we are shaped by our unconscious being and the decisions we make are greatly influenced by things we are not even aware of. Knowing this can help us be gentle and kind with ourselves as we approach the therapeutic process.
I am well trained and have years of experience working with symptoms depression, anxiety and complex trauma. The impact of problematic substance use and abuse on the self and others. The difficulty engaging in treatment for a chronic health issue. The isolating effects of feeling alone and disconnected.
I will utilize a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing the uniqueness of every person. Our work together may include mind-body practice, meditation, movement and spirituality. We will be creating a healing environment together, therefore I welcome any suggestions you may find helpful in your healing process.
