About
I believe that people show their greatest strength and resiliency if they have an outlet for their emotions and a empathetic guide for how to navigate goals, struggles, triumphs and stress. I practice from a holistic approach that aims to help a client identify and utilize their greatest strengths to achieve wholeness and wellness. I have extensive experience working with victims of crime as an advocate and trauma informed therapist. I love working with children and youth (ages 6-18). Additionally I work with adults who are first responders or medical personnel struggling with work related traumatic stress.
In addition to being a Trauma Focused - CBT therapist, I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and behavioral issues. I have experience working with clients experiencing grief, secondary traumatic stress; that are victims of crime, abuse or bullying, and those struggling with family or life changes.
IN-HOME COUNSELING! EVENING TIMES AVAILABLE! The services offered by WHC are designed for children and youth ages 6 to 18 and adults who are first responders. We do not have an office location - we come to your home or offer teletherapy for all counseling services.
