I've been a member of veteran and first responder communities for over 20 years and I specialize in working with those populations, including those struggling with chronic illnesses and rehabilitative medicine. Prior to counseling, I also served for fifteen years as an educator and developed a passion for helping adolescents and young adults to navigate their pathways to adulthood.
As unique individuals, we benefit most from unique treatment plans, designed to fit our specific needs and goals. I utilize several neuroscience-informed counseling methods, including mindfulness exercises, neuropsychological education and EMDR. My primary specialties are trauma recovery and helping my clients to manage chronic conditions of all kinds.
