Do you often feel stuck in the same patterns, whether in relationships, friendships, or your professional life, even though you can clearly see how they affect you? Many of the people I work with have a growing awareness that something is not working, but struggle to understand why these patterns persist or how to change them. As a psychodynamic psychologist, I help you trace these patterns back to their origins and develop a more integrated and compassionate understanding of yourself, creating a foundation for meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and codependency, with a focus on recurring relationship patterns. My approach integrates psychodynamic and relational therapy with evidence-based treatments such as DBT and CBT, combining depth-oriented exploration with practical strategies for change.
I believe each person’s inner world deserves to be understood with nuance, curiosity, and care. I pay attention not only to what you say, but also to what may feel harder to access or put into words. Our work together will be collaborative, thoughtful, and paced to your individual needs.

I trained under Dr. Robert Bornstein, a leading expert on interpersonal dependency—a pattern in how we rely on others that affects confidence, relationships, and decision-making. I conducted a 30,000-person study and am one of the few specialists in this niche area.

I often use Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in my practice. More specifically, I utilize Relational Psychotherapy to use the strength of the relationship we build as a vehicle for change and am therefore very directive and communicative. In our first few sessions, we will have an elaborate intake process followed by goal-setting to give us structure and set us up for success.
