About
I recently graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have experience working with people across the lifespan with many different mental health needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I primarily work with individuals 16 years old and older who may struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, obsessions and compulsions, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, gender identity, sexuality, life transitions, and stress.
As a therapist, I strive to create an open space where you are comfortable to be your most authentic self and are willing to explore different aspects of your life. I use a person-centered, strength-based approach to counseling. I pull in techniques from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) among other therapy approaches that will best serve your needs.
