My clients find validation in having a provider who understands and acknowledges the difficulties that arise from experiencing marginalization. I have been in the field for over 20 years and have found that my skills are most effective in working with people who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression and relationship concerns. With our rapidly changing and shifting world it is important to have a provider that acknowledges the times we are living in to support those of us most affected by these changes. Many of us are struggling to navigate the vast changes in the world around us in addition to typical day to day concerns.
My style is compassionate, interactive, direct, and supportive. I offer an eclectic combination of EMDR, IFS, DBT, somatics and somatic abolitionism. I provide decolonized treatment and welcome clients that value this in themselves and their provider. I focus on the present, but recognize how our past impacts choices, feelings, and behaviors in the present.
I look forward to meeting you and working through aspects of life you are finding challenging. Together, we will sort through challenges and magnify your strengths. We will identify and build skills that increase resiliency and empower you to manage those challenging experiences.I hope you find therapy with me to be a safe, nurturing, productive experience.
