About
Have you noticed a change in you or your child’s moods, behaviors, or attitude? Does your teen engage in self-harm behaviors or express thoughts of wanting to end their life? Are you struggling with anxious feelings, confidence, and managing life transitions? Being human comes with challenges no matter what walks of life we come from and it can be difficult to figure out how to navigate the transitions of school or work, relationships, and family dynamics. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients and their families to create long lasting, positive change and enhanced relationships.
I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship with each client who comes to my door, which means I firmly believe the cause of change in session is the therapeutic relationship we build. Through my training in CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and now play therapy, I use validation and empathy to help decrease mental health symptoms and provide support.
One of the most important things I have learned is, my clients teach me as much as I teach them. I value working together on your journey towards healing. My genuine and personable approach fosters emotional expression, individuality, and ultimately reaching therapeutic goals you set for yourself or your child.
